Michelle Larbey Badger Learning AuthorMichelle Larbey is a former Leading English Primary teacher, Senior Manager and Local Authority Consultant who now spends her time as a freelance consultant, author and mother.

Having spent years in the classroom working across Key Stages, Michelle pursued her passion for Literacy by taking up the opportunity to become a National Strategy Literacy Consultant based in Gloucestershire. After some time, Michelle moved to Cambridge where she joined the Local Authority supporting schools across the county.

More recently, Michelle moved to be a freelance consultant and writer supporting Local Authorities, Clusters/individual schools across the UK. Michelle also works part-time for Cambridge University in the Faculty of Education supporting PGCE trainees in the highest standards of research and teacher training.

You can join Michelle at the training centre in Stevenage on various dates throughout the year where she will be running courses for Badger Learning for Head teachers, Senior Leaders, teachers and teaching assistants on all aspects of teaching English. Known for her passion and infectious enthusiasm Michelle will ensure you leave the training day feeling more confident and motivated about the teaching of English.
