ELS: Essential Phonic Readers: Oxford Reading Level 4 Class Pack

This class pack of 48 Essential Phonic Readers offers an engaging selection of fiction and non-fiction books, perfectly aligned with each week of Essential Letters and Sounds, enabling children to reinforce their phonics knowledge through reading within a precise framework. The pack includes six copies of each of the 8 books at Oxford Reading Level 4, Phase 4; 6 titles are for Reception children to read in Summer Term 1, Weeks 1–6; 2 titles are for Year One children to review learning in Phase 4 in Autumn Term 1, Weeks 1–2 (NB for Reception children in Summer Term 2 Essential Blending Books introducing Phase 5 are available).

Each title in this pack of books is fully decodable, in line with Essential Letters and Sounds, a DfE validated phonics programme which matches the progression of Letters and Sounds (2007).

Six copies of each title is useful for class reading or as take-home readers, the Essential Phonic Readers are an ideal way for children to consolidate their phonics knowledge using books that are closely matched to learning in the classroom and familiar sounds learned systematically.

Every book will be fitted with a complete protective book cover as part of our service, free of charge, to ensure that books last for a longer period of time.
