ELS: Essential Phonic Readers: Oxford Reading Level 5

This pack of 11 Essential Phonic Readers offers an engaging selection of fiction and non-fiction books, perfectly aligned with each week of Essential Letters and Sounds, enabling children to reinforce their phonics knowledge through reading within a controlled framework. The pack includes books levelled at Oxford Reading Level 5, Phase 5 for Year 1 children to read in Autumn Term 1, Weeks 3–6, Autumn Term 2 Weeks 1–6 and Spring Term 1 Week 1.

Each title in this pack of books is fully decodable, in line with Essential Letters and Sounds, a DfE validated phonics programme which matches the progression of Letters and Sounds (2007).

Essential Phonic Readers are an ideal way for children to consolidate their phonics knowledge using books that are closely matched to learning in the classroom and familiar sounds learned systematically.
